Keeping folklore alive is more than just retelling old stories—it’s about immersing ourselves in them, breathing new life into ancient tales, and making them a part of our modern world. As someone deeply involved in the LARP community, I see firsthand how storytelling isn’t just something we listen to—it’s something we experience. Whether it’s through reenactment, roleplaying, or crafting new narratives inspired by old myths, folklore continues to evolve with every new storyteller who embraces it.
For me, The Lorekeeper’s Library is the perfect way to merge my love of storytelling with my passion for craftsmanship. Alongside my leathercraft business, this podcast gives me the opportunity to be creative in a way that feels both meaningful and fun. Whether I’m working with my hands to create something tangible or diving into the world of legends and lore, it’s all about keeping traditions alive in a way that speaks to people today. And that’s something I’ll never stop loving.
It’s all about keeping these stories alive—honoring the past while giving them a fresh voice, ensuring they continue to inspire, educate, and connect people across generations. Folklore, myths, and legends aren’t just relics of the past; they’re living, breathing stories that still shape the way we see the world today.
What started as a small experiment quickly became a passion. When I first launched The Lorekeeper’s Library, I had no idea how much it would grow or how deeply it would resonate with others. It’s been incredible to see a community of fellow storytellers and curious minds come together, eager to explore the strange, the mysterious, and the forgotten.
For me, this podcast is more than just a creative project—it’s a way to blend my love of history, storytelling, and research with my everyday life. Whether I’m crafting silver pieces in my workshop or uncovering lost legends for an episode, both allow me to create something lasting, something that connects people through time and tradition. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.
